San Pedro Chapter #95 was formed in 1992 and chartered by the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) Veterans’ Association on March 23, 1992.
The Women’s Army Corp Veterans’ Association is now the Women’s Army Corp Veterans’ Association – Army Women United (WACVA-AWU) that recognizes All Women Veterans, not just those who served in the Women’s Army Corp. Women of any era, having served, retired or currently serving in the Army, Army National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve, regardless of rank, may join the Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association-Army Women United as Regular Members. Women having served, retired or currently serving with any branch of the military other than the Army may join as Affiliate Members.
Our Chapter meets monthly, except in July and August, to conduct the business in the Chapter, plan community service activities, recognize accomplishments of members and coordinate service to those in need. You need not be a member to come to our meeting! Join us, see who we are, what we do, and how you can continue providing service to Women Veterans and our community.
